Does anyone else with Type 1 diabetes get totally ignored by their doctors when you explain about your fatigue? “Oh that’s your diabetes” they’ll say. Yeah well blood sugars good or bad I get so exhausted I stop being able to form sentences. No matter how much I sleep I am ALWAYS exhausted. Normal things like cleaning the house can leave me so exhausted I often need a whole DAY to recover and yet you’re not even willing to ENTERTAIN the idea that perhaps I have diabetes AND chronic fatigue syndrome? I’m sorry that there isn’t a simple blood test like for diabetes to give you an answer, but can you please listen to the fact that I know what rubbish blood sugars make me feel like and this is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
