Hello I’ve been diagnosed with type 1.5 (LADA): treated as type 1 due to the autoimmunity. How long does it take for someone to go on the pump?

My doctor had me using injections for a few months until I got the hang of it and then I switched to the pump. It was less than 6 months after diagnosis. I have the Tandem Tslim and love it!

I tried the pump about a decade ago. Really wasn't for me.... I had to wait home for it to be delivered and it was uncomfortable. I don't know how much it has changed since I last used it

Hi, I was diagnosed 3 yrs ago and it only took me 6 months to get on the pump. I was able to manage it with injections.
