There are a few reasons why you could be having two periods a month. It could be related to your anxiety, for example. I have had early and late periods because of my anxiety. However, it could also be a medical problem. I urge you to go to your doctor, as having periods that frequently can cause problems. I had friends in high school who had to be on birth control because their periods were too frequent.

if you got your first period ever within the last several years, it can be normal for it to fluctuate. but if it's been established for a while, that could be a cause for concern. just having a really short cycle isn't bad in and of itself (besides it being annoying— i feel you on that) but any irregularities and pain that come with it might be symptoms of something deeper going on. i recommend using a period tracking app like clue to collect information about how your menstrual cycle has been going so you notice the patterns. it might even be able to alert you if your cycle is outside the typical healthy range (my app did this recently lol). good luck! :)

Late reply! But if you just started having periods, it's normal for it to be irregular. I would recommend seeing a doctor, in case it's like a thyroid issue (I had similar problems with my period as well and turned out to be because of my thyroid, not saying it's the case though, just sharing my experience) Or a gynecologist. As sandbox joints said, it would be a good idea to track it. It could also be stress or anxiety. My best advice, see a doctor. Best wishes and good luck to you!
