TV Static and Hallucinations: A Comforting Fixation?

this is a bit specific, but does anyone with VSS and hallucinations (any on-setting way) find TV static to be hypnotically comforting? but at the same time, it can sometimes make you sick with emotions so gutturally deep you question the fabric of spacetime. i have a big fixation on static and noise of the like, and have found companionship in it with the hallucinations that come out of it.

I remember the first time I connected my visual snow syndrome to the tv static and ever since it's always given me a sort of comfort...? I'm not sure but I do enjoy looking at it

omg i love these concepts a lot too!! i find that non-euclidian beings tend to pass through as if they happen to slip around the fabric of spacetime, static making up those strings evermoving, staunchly expanding and shifting. demonology/angelology has always captured my interest ever since ive seen them come around, one demon in particular came out of the static named BI█LE! she likes to float around my peripheral and protects me from harmful hallucinations by scaring them off. i give thanks to her by drawing her and watching her dance in the dark (i find that the visual snow is most clear in pitch black, perfect scenics for BI█LE)

there's a lot of noise music that I find comfort in, and creatures composed of relatively moving static - - as if they are passing through layers of reality. I also find comfort in the lore of demons and gods of probability or change or chaos

btw, can you also hear the static? if it's silent and i have headphones on, i hear white noise, as well as hallucinations more clearer (i forgot to @ you on the last msg)

Woah this is not something I ever thought of. It makes me dizzy, I think mostly it reminds me of the no signal static & high pitch old TV whine, which I hate. There is a Visual Snow relief overlay program I tried for a bit on my laptop that basically puts film grain over everything, I think it helped briefly, but my settings were too dark so I forgot about it 😅 same concept I guess

im glad you can find relief from your symptoms, your perspective is interesting! ive only ever met one other person with VSS and that was them finding out they had it
