Trouble Sleeping and Racing Thoughts

I’m reaching out for anyone with similar symptoms. Having trouble with sleep Throughout the night at different times I’ll wake up with racing thoughts and it feels like my ears are ringing. An intense feeling I’ll take a bezo to go back asleep. Then in the morning I’ll awake with Same feeling. Once I’m up it starts to fade. If anyone has similar issue please respond. Doctor has no suggestions or solution.

No, I refused to take the vaccine because I am highly allergic to aluminum sulfates and the vaccines have them.

it took 3 or 4 nights for improvement, and I still take them. Prazocin is actually a blood pressure medicine, but they also found out it helped with night terrors and bad dreams in small doses. They started me out on 1mg and then boosted it twice so I take 3mg each night at bedtime. No more bad dreams, night terrors, or nighttime panic attacks

I don’t really remember any bad dreams. So not sure what’s going on Taking 5 mg lexapro for 4 Weeks. No improvement yet. Then someone told me it could have been the Covid vaccine. I’ve had anxiety for years but got these new symptoms after vaccine. Did you take vaccine

I had the exact same symptoms for months. My psych prescribed me Trazadone and Prazocin at night to help me through that. He said it was non-memory night terrors. Haven't had them since.
