The doctor mentioned a possibility of trigeminal neuralgia, but I feel like my symptoms more align with geniculate neuralgia. Has anyone else experienced this?:

@coffeemama omg! It's not as awful as the ATN. Now, it's annoying because I'm used to the non-stop ache. I hate(!!!) that it feels like I can't hear. I work with the elderly and we wear masks. So damn frustrating

I have ATN, and my ear on that side always feels like it's got an infection. Pain, and I swear loss of hearing! It could be both

@Smlivingston82 I also have ATN and my ear is the same way. It's horrible!! My neurologist put me on medication for it and it has helped some but it still hurts.
