Trazodone making me feel exhausted

When taking trazodone does anyone else feel absolutely exhausted after and when waking up? It’s the only thing that helps me sleep (that I’ve tried) but I just hate the way it makes me feel.

      The trazodone has the hangover effect . It’s a crappy but common side effect. There’s not too many remedies that I found anyway. Besides taking it 10 hrs before you need to get up so you are more alert . Sorry you’re feeling that way- I hope you can find something to help!

      I had that problem, but I cut it in half and it helped to not be exhausted when waking up in the morning

        @chronicchemist yeah I do the same thing but it still makes me drowsy in the mornings /: but it’s better than not sleeping I guess

      It does that to me right after waking up, and I too, hate how it makes me feel. I take 100mg and you aren't the only one...
