Experiencing Transient Global Amnesia at 20

Has anyone experienced transient global amnesia? A couple days ago I experienced short term memory loss for a few hours until I felt normal again. It sent me into a panic because I had never felt so lost before. Amnesia is the only way I can describe it but I’m only 20. I have a history of migraines. My physician says it’s probably just because I missed my meds for a couple days but I’m not fully convinced.. I’m really worried about it and I just want to know if anyone my age has experienced something similar.

      That’s so interesting! My first hemiplegic migraine, I forgot who my uncle was! That’s when I was 11 years old. And I also normally have transient aphasia during the aura of a big migraine. For me that’s when I can’t think of the right word for the thing I need to say so I maybe say something different or I just keep thinking about what the word is.

      I had this happen to me a week ago and I hadn’t missed my meds at all. I had lost my memory of my children and grandchildren, brothers and other family members.
