Advice on Taking Tramadol for Back Pain and Anxiety

Gabapentin messed with my head gave me suicidal thoughts first time meds did that scared me luckily it wasn’t long before I figured it out 😏

What side affects did you have

Good luck with the gabapentin @champy it wasn’t worth the side effects for me and I’ve been thru all the medications for my fibromyalgia and I found Cymbalta or duloxetine (generic) to work the best I take the max dosage and I love how it stops the tingling and luckily have no side effects I was so relieved when I started taking years ago.

I just got prescribed gabapentin seems to be working somewhat, I also take ibuprofen as needed.

I am prescribed tramadol for pain as needed. It takes the edge off the pain. I would just be aware that it may causeconstipation depending on how often you take it.

I take Tramadol usual every 4 to 6 hours and it helps with my back pain and gives me energy however I do have to take breaks every few days because it can cause poopy problems lol but seriously can constipate you and it also helps to eat apples and other foods that can help you stay regular 👍

Buspirone and Cymbalta helped me along with gabapentin.
