How to Get Rid of Tonsil Stones in Hard to Reach Spots?

I have tonsil stones but they're way in the back of my throat or in hard to reach spots. They never really go away, either. I have very enlarged tonsils (always have) but the doctors never seem eager to do much about it. Any advice for getting rid of them?
