I fell from a tree when I was younger, broke my jaw and I suffer from TMJ since then. Over the years, surgeons offered to have a surgery and I turned them down, I kinda regret it today

I have had tmj since I was a kid. My jaw use to pop so bad when I was eating my mother would make me eat in other room because it bothered her. Luckily for me that doesn’t happen as much. I’m glad knowing others have it don’t make you feel so alone. I know that feeling to well.

I have TMJ issues caused by EDS. My jaw slips out of place easily and it’s very painful. There are days I can barely open my mouth. I first really dislocated it when I was 12 (8 years ago) and haven’t been friends with it since. Glad to make you feel less alone!

I had TMJ since I was 15 I broke my jaw when I was hit by a mini school bus and it didn’t heal well I was left with a jaw with alot of scar tissue and I used my other side a lot to compensate so now I have had tmj on both sides it’s honestly mostly under control but it gets bad when I get stressed
