Tips for Surviving a Tolerance Break When Coping with Mental and Chronic Physical Issues

Are there any tips for surviving a tolerance break for those of us who smoke to cope with mental and chronic physical issues? I smoke to cope with my PMDD, my autism, my anxiety, my cptsd, and chronic illnesses and pain. Weed is so helpful and I don’t take any physical medication other than ibuprofen and stomach meds because of a different anxiety issue. Any tips on how to help make this go easier? I’ve run into needing a break cause it’s hard to smoke enough to get relief, but I have no relief if I don’t smoke!

I would do it a few days at a time. When I was smoking daily and had to go without for a few days, it was just enough to ease down my tolerance. I ended up quitting for a couple of months recently, and even though I'm struggling with my anxiety, it has helped with my over all mental health to not use it daily. I was going through over 7 grams a day until August. I quit for a job, and enjoyed the feeling of being sober. I got stoned on Saturday at a party and it was amazing just how stoned I got off how little I smoked. But it takes a lot of work and being able to stay away from product.

7 grams a week, not 7 grams a day. I'm not Snoop Dogg! 🤣

If you buy from a dispensary ask for a 1:1 cbd strain that's good for helping with pain. The cbd should cancel out and help with some of that? T-breaks are hard, for a while I tried to do like 1 day a week where I didn't smoke to sorta keep my tolerance in check- sorry I don't have more to reccomended? Be kind to yourself

I would use cbd oil if possible. It may not do much in comparison to thc, but maybe it will take the edge off of some problems.
