I struggle with remembering to take my medicine. after a while I end up ignoring my alarms and reminders and notes to myself, even if I write it on my own body lol. any tips or tricks?

I use an app called Medisafe that helps remind me! It sends me multiple notifications in a row if I ignore it. I try to reschedule the notifications around times that I’m more likely to listen to. If absolutely no alarms/notifications help, I would set it up with another routine or frequent task you do.

Every night before bed I lay my medicine out on my laptop, that way I have to take in in the morning to pack my bag

If you still live with your parents, or not, either have them set it out on the main counter in the kitchen, or doing it yourself really helps me remember. As I have HORRIBLE object perminance due to ADHD.

I have a big metal pill case that clips visibly to my bag that my safe person refills for me weekly. That way, when I inevitably forget, I can take them when I do remember later.

I keep all my meds in a pill box and put it near my clothes so when I get ready for the day it's right there waiting for me.

I turn my bottle upside down after I take my pill in the morning. Then before I go to bed I turn it right side up.

I have my own bathroom so I keep my somewhat large plastic weekly medication pill box on my bathroom counter right next to my toothbrush. When I brush my teeth I take my meds.

I forget all the TIME!! What works for me is association with a nice feeling/treat. So like a small sweet or a favorite drink after/with your meds help!
