Hi. I haven’t been diagnosed with IBS, but it runs in the family and I experience ALL of the symptoms. My doctor is just running me through various random solutions before she tries a diagnosis. Do you guys have tips on how to manage this kind of stuff? Especially the gas pain and pressure. That gets to me the worst when I’m having diarrhoea. Any input to curb any symptoms would be helpful, though.

keeping a food log & bowel movement log w/ symptoms (after you eat the food) has helped me! i've figured out some trigger foods through this & identified safe ones :D

Extra strength Gas-X has helped me SO much when I’m having extreme gas pain, and it starts working very fast.

i think diet and watching what u it is the most important that will show some change it is honestly difficult to do at first since u r changing ur routine i tried nerva which is an app that helps with ibs and managing ur stress u do have to pay but it does help more than u would think i usually take a dairy enzyme pill if im going to have any dairy products and i dont eat gluten but i allow a cheat day every now and then and take my bentyl when needed also avoid greasy foods and try using a squatty potty best of luck 💕
