Being by myself when I'm stressed out at work is like a special case so I can get a weed break and food all in one. I've had to have my hubby teach me the Thunder song for storms. They are just God and the angles farting because the Saint Peter made some extra spicy nachos and chili.

Breathing exercises. Petting my dogs or having them lay on me. Weighted blanket. Lavender spray. Warm bathes. Comfort TV.

I do grounding techniques and they have really helped me. I either tell someone to tell me colors or I do it myself, but someone will say a color and you look around the room and find something of that color, and then they'll keep giving you more colors. another one you can do alone is list 5 things you can see, 4 things you can physically feel, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. I also like to use guided breathing videos on YouTube, listen to music, or distract myself with hobbies/ funny videos/ talking with friends or family. if I'm in public I'll go to the bathroom and sometimes crying it out helps, or I'll kinda like shake it off, and drink a ton of water. my favorite thing by far is the 4 7 8 breathing method. Close your lips and inhale through your nose for a count of 4. Hold your breath for a count of 7. Exhale completely through your mouth for a count of 8.
