As relieving as it may initially feel, I feel like my body doesn’t hold chiropractor adjustments for long at all. Any tips on how to help your body hold chiropractor adjustments? Thanks!

I was having the same issue. I was seeing a Neuro-muscular medicine doctor who did more gentle adjustments. I would feel a lot of relief leaving the office but it would not last. They told me it was because my ligaments and muscles were too weak to hold the adjustments in place so I’m now going to PT once a week

Have you talked with your doctor about PT? I see a PT who specializes in mulldowney and strengthening my body has helped subluxations

@LeeannD I was going to PT but they were not too familiar with hEDS and I ended up in more pain, so much so that I required aquatic PT from regular PT. I had never heard of Mulldowney. Thank you so much, I will look into this.

@LovelyNova definitely share your experience. So sorry! A PT who understands heds is so important. Would your doctor know anyone? Finally found one and it helped. Yes things don't stay long for me either but I find I need less interventions once I made myself stronger.
