Hi! I’ve been struggling with BV for the last 2 years or so. In the beginning , I also dealt with yeast and UTI infections. I feel as though though I have less severe bouts or BV now than before ,but I’m not sure that it’s ever fully cleared up. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Im realizing I have so much to say about my journey and getting my thoughts together is taking longer than I'd hoped. Let me share exactly what I did to create my current biome. My biome looks good and I had a negative bv test last month, so I believe I'm on the right track. To be clear I think that once you have chronic bv or other infections, the biome requires a lifetime of maintenance. Im working on explaining more in detail and hope to create a link soon. ✅-Clindamycin 7 day oral treatment. ✅-I took probiotics 2 to 3 hours after taking the antibiotic or vice versa. THIS IS CRUTIAL. Otherwise you wipe out all bacteria, good and bad. Prior to this I spent 9 months only taking antibiotics and no probiotics, over that time I completely destroyed my biome. I was told by a terrible obgyn, to wait until after my antibiotics to start probiotics. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. Protocol: ✅-PROBIOTICS (oral) first thing in the morning on a empty stomach. Two hours later -ANTIBIOTIC. repeat if you are taking two antibiotics a day. ⚠️After completing the antibiotics: ⏩Daily: ✅-Kirkman biofilm buster (Also better on more of a empty stomach ) ✅-Lactoferrin With food but not necessary ✅-vitamin D ✅-vitamin E ✅-vitamin C ✅- capryllic acid ✅-At night probiotic suppository 3 days in a row then take a break, Checked my PH. (PH strips are available on Amazon) ✅- Yukault probiotic drink twice a day. ✅- Kifer or yogurt (occasionally) ✅- Kombucha (occasionally) -During the day I'd often use vitamin c suppositories. Or lactic acid gel. (Though this did give me pelvic pain) Three days then rest a day or two. -I also recommend researching ‼️Lactulose, to feed lactobacillus. ▶️There is a great website called myvagina.com Cut back SUGAR, FRIED FOODS & CAFFEINE ⚠️Get your vitamin D levels checked. I was vitamin D Deficient. -Boric acid is not a cure (It can also harm good bacteria just like antibiotics) Thats why as soon as you stop taking it symptoms return. Boric acid is however useful in lowering your PH. I will only use it on the last day or two of my period. ✅- Probiotic suppositories seem to be helpful to use as lube. You are literally adding lactobacillus during sex. This also seems to aid in stopping the UTI that undoubtedly followed. Urinate and wash after sex. Dove unscented or plain water. I did not put soap directly on vaginal area. 🚫No sperm inside you. ‼️Also invest in a EVVY OR JUNO test. This test breaks down the vaginal biome and gives you percentages of bacteria you are dealing with. It will also test for ureaplasma and other plasmas that mimic bv or yeast symptoms. 🤬The reason for plasmas not being run as part of a standard STI test is beyond me except for the fact that men don't usually have symptoms, its a woman's problem so why bother. The products im suggesting are the ones that have worked best for me. If you don't agree, I respect that but save the negative comments, we are all in this together. ❤ I HOPE THIS HELPS 🙏

Hey there, I have been dealing with off and on BV for 2 years now, as well as yeast infections and had my first UTI. I am 33 years old and have never had these issues until I was 31 years old. I have never had any vagina issues, ever. I truly have no clue what happened as nothing in my life had a sudden change, except a new relationship. After 2 years of the battle and totally over the antibiotics I have turned to a daily probiotic and a boric acid suppository if I feel anything is remotely.... Off. It has helped immensely! I have tested the theory myself. Went into the doctor, got results back for positive BV and positive Yeast Infection. Treated with probiotics, less sugar in my diet, and boric acid. Went to the doctor a few weeks later, tested negative for BOTH. I cried. I hope this helps others. ❤️❤️❤️

@CaitFrances Oh and I'm sure you know this but boric acid is poison to consume, it's a suppository so you inject it into the source itself: your vagina :) haha it is a magic "pill." I wish doctors had shared this with me from the very beginning but ya know.... Money and big pharma. 🤭

@CaitFrances omg absolutely!!! Boric acid is a band-aid at best and a product marketed at us in the hopes of it being a cure. It is not. It does temporarily lower your ph but when you stop taking it symptoms return. Im speaking from experience, after a 4 month treatment plan of antibiotics and boric acid.
