Need advice for dealing with constant tinnitus

Hi, I suffer a lot with tinnitus (ringing in my ears). It's basically constant, but varies in intensity. Sometimes it even becomes painful for me, and it regularly keeps me awake at night. I've tried a lot of suggestions but none have worked more than a couple of days. Any advice?
