Will tics get worse and worse?

Chronic Tics

Allegedly there’s supposed to “get better” with age, but I have yet to experience that. Though, I know—as far at motor tics go—their intensity can vary from day to day depending on your stress levels or any other triggers that might cause them. Mine are temperature induced, anxiety/stress induced, as well as sensory overload induced. One day I might have one tic, but the next I might have a tic every 5seconds for a solid hour or so.
