Can a Tic Disorder Cause Uneven Shoulders?
There's a tic I have where I would move my neck in a specific way and cause it to pop on one side. If I don't pop it, I will continue violently shaking my neck until I do. I've noticed that ever since this started my shoulders and neck have been hurting very badly. My shoulders are now uneven. Does my tic have to do with my shoulders being uneven? Is my tic changing my body?

Hi!!! I have the exact same thing. I have been seeing a chiropractor to help which is nice. I know it can be scary. Hang in there.

I have a similar thing. It could be building your muscles unevenly if it happens frequently. If your shoulders are really uneven it may be time to look at seeing a doctor about your tics. If it’s just a little bit, some icy hot should help relieve the pain and tension. I have one with CBD in it and it helps me a lot.
