Dealing with Anxiety due to Subclinical Thyroiditis

Hi! I've been diagnosed with subclinical thyroiditis back in January 2021 and it has been a nightmare on my anxiety. I've had frequent anxiety attacks, anxiousness, and irritability. I was put on metoprolol and propranolol. The propranolol has helped with the anxiety and palps, but my doctor wants to wean me off this med now since my bloodwork comfirms it switched from hyperthyroidism to hypothyroidism. Apparently this is normal and the hyper stage only lasts 3-6 months and then the hypo stage can last 12-18 months. I cannot go through the anxiety attacks like I had for a whole year. Has anyone tried anything natural or any other medication they were perscribed that helped? I am trying to conceive, so this was the deciding factor in stopping the propranolol, but it's only been 3 days since I cut back on the pills I was taking and the anxiety symptoms are rearing their ugly head šŸ˜”

Hi Gabby. I Started taking Ashwaganda gummies to help with my sleep anxiety and it seems to help a little. But I donā€™t know if itā€™s safe if youā€™re trying to get pregnant. I donā€™t know that much about it, actually! Iā€™m so sorry youā€™re experiencing this, and wish you well.
