Breathing difficulties after thyroidectomy and Levo

Hi! I had thyroid cancer with total thyroidectomy and am now on Levo to keep me suppressed. Anyone else feel like they can’t breathe or have chest discomfort with that?

There is a difference between Synthroid and the Generic brand Levo. If they tell you that there isn’t, there is & you should find another doctor. I had to get off of Levo. Synthroid is somewhat better and it has something in it that helps fight cancer.

When my dose was too high for me, I would get heart palpitations and a chest pain type feeling. It's how I feel my anxiety, so I chalked it up to that but mentioned it to my endo. She lowered me and it got better. Maybe talk to your Dr about adjusting your meds?

How long ago was your surgery? I don’t remember having any of that. Total Thyroidectomy here too but it was 23 years ago.
