Dealing with a Persistent Throat Sensation

Hello all I’m glad to be here, hopefully I can find the help I need it’s been two years dealing with a sensation in my throat no matter what I’ve done it’s there I will go away for few weeks and came back please I can’t focus on anything else I need to move one to better things but my focus can not shift from this to something else

I get soreness and raspy voice. I think it’s the acid in the throat. I’m on Protonix but get that. I’m hoping it’s not turning into Barrets esophagus. They want to do endoscopy, but I don’t want to do that.

I was just diagnosed with Barrett’s esophagus I’ve had nothing but problems eating foods

I would suggest drinking a glass of water with small amount of apple cider Vinegar or lemon. Keep head propped up during sleeping.

I've had the same problem. Something you can do to stop the burning right away is to slowly drink 1 tsp of baking soda with a glass of water. This really helped me.

Same here Lauren. The barretts went away a few years ago. Wouldn't be surprised if it's back. I have to be so careful when I eat lately. If I eat too fast my food sticks then the hiccups then throwing up what a pain.

that happens to be it’s scary i noticed when i it smaller meals and really chew my coughing is not as bad
