Throat Closing Up - Need Help!

My throat feels like it's closing and I don't know what's going on. I know I'm not sick and it's just freaking me out. Breathing is hard and it's difficult to swallow my saliva.

      Sorry you’re dealing with this. It can be really scary and frustrating. Recently found out this happens with GERD (acid reflux) and hiatal hernia which I have. Throat closing feeling has been getting worse and realized it’s most likely from those issues since they’ve been flaring recently. So possibly due to GI issues rather than anxiety. Also look up vocal chord disorder if you haven’t already- throat literally constricts with that as well and feel like can’t breathe, talk, or swallow- personally biggest trigger for that is anxiety.
