I suggest seeing a psychologist before seeing a psychiatrist. A psychologist will help manage your anxiety by helping you through the situations in life that are making you anxious. With that being said, they’ll give you tips on how to change your mindset for the better. A psychiatrist helps by prescribing medication. If therapy does not help, you may need to try medication. Good luck to you!
