Therapist Dismissed My Autism Diagnosis

Has anyone else had a therapist that dismissed or downplayed your autism diagnosis from a different therapist? I have a new one and she was playing devils advocate today during our session, and the way she put everything made me feel like i’m faking everything and i’m actually fine just “quirky” (her words)

I unfortunately am still working on getting officially diagnosed, mainly because therapists think I'm just "quirky"/have too many social skills to be autistic (it's called years of masking and the therapists don't see me day to day). But I can relate. I would try another therapist if she is dismissive and won't take you seriously to help.
