Dealing with Testosterone-Induced Anxiety About Smelling Bad

Anyone else get really self conscious about smelling bad?? Testosterone’s made it so that it’s more than necessary for me to shower AT LEAST daily, wear deodorant, and wear cologne and Im still anxious that someone around me thinks i smell bad. My old friends(i ended things with them) had literally told me this, and i was really embarrassed. But A, they lied to me and belittled me often, and B, theres not much else i can do. My depression can make it hard for me to take care of myself sometimes but i really am trying my best. This has to be the worst side effect of T imo. Anyone have advice or relate??

I struggled with that for awhile too. I'm almost 6 years on T, give your body time to adjust if it hasn't. Your natural scent is changing, and with normal hygiene, its not necessarily a bad thing. It took me over a year to believe my partner when she told me I wasn't absolutely rank. If you bind, make sure you wash under your chest to clear any built up bacteria, that made a ton of difference for me. I've also had better luck with cheap deodorants rather than the fancy expensive stuff, it doesn't smell as strongly scented but imo it lasts way longer.
