I'm on testosterone so I'm going through puberty (yay!) So I have super bad acne. Like no space uncovered acne... I've tried clearcil, witch hazel, benzodioxide, pan oil, salicylic acid and tretinal. Any suggestions?????

Oh boy, I started testosterone 2 years ago and I’m in the same boat (except I’ve always had severe cystic acne). I’ve been on over 7 different meds since 2016 and none have worked, but cerave doesn’t irritate me. At this point, I would go to a dermatologist, because it’s hormonal acne, which can’t always be “cured” with topicals.

@sparkybuttonz can you tell me more about a Korean skin care regime? What is it ?

I’ve tried aczone which worked great for me. Amzeeq was also pretty good but I had a burning sensation on my skin after I used it.

I too have gotten more acne flare ups since I started TRT. I use green tea products to help prevent sebum build up. I've also found that aloe gel keeps your skin both moisturized and clean. I suggest looking into the Korean Skin Care routine it makes quite a difference

Anything with salyicylic acid should help. Try to avoid benzoyl peroxide. It dries your skin horribly
