I am honestly so terrified for america. After friday it feels like were going back in time.. and as a member of the lgbtq+ community hearing rumours about then banning same sex marriage’s is terrible. I hope America can oull itself together because idk how many more people can take these stupid laws.

      When the decision came down, my sister told me she wants to move to another country within the next decade. She has told me previously on several occasions that she didn't even want to visit another country.

      Make sure your information is not based on others, emotions or rumors. Get information from the "horse's mouth." So much of the panic is emotional because I heard this or that. Just for giggles read the constitution. Everything is literally in black and white. All of our inalienable rights are right there. Now, our civil rights are different. These are where you need to spend your energy. And do not spend your energy fighting for rights you already have. It just provokes your opposition.

      The new over turn of roe vs Wade did not ban abortion but it left it up to the states to determine if it is legal in that state. It's a state's right issue. So abortion will not be completely outlawed.

        @EJ18 At this point guns have more rights than women. Guns are so important that it's a country issue, but women aren't as so it's a states issues. It's sad.

          @Alpine That is because guns are drafted in the constitution making it a supreme court and Congress issue. Whereas abortion was a recent event not drafted in the national constitution.

      America is going in a backwards direction & I'm not here for it. The people in power aren't listening to the majority of people & what they want. Their lying so they can keep that power & then turning on the people who helped them get there. Promises are going unkept. It's scary & disgusting. Women, people in the lgbtq+ community, & people of color are being shut out & going unheard. It makes me really terrified for the future.

        @Alpine I just…I really want the old geezers to live out their happy retirements. It’s time for them to rest for a bit and let the younger generation take care of their own country. We’re the successors, you know?
