Using TENS Machines for Endometriosis Pain

Does anyone have experience using TENS machines with endometriosis pain? I own one but am yet to use it due to a minor fear of electrocuting myself with it (hah.).

I’ve used a tens machine before and it does really help with cramping, and also back pain. I used to work at a chiropractor though so I know a lot about tens units and how to use them. As long as the pads are flat against the skin, you shouldn’t be electrocuted ;)

I have one w the stickers that you put on yourself directly, and one that's built into a portable heating pad. I got both off Amazon. The TENs unit w the stickers, atleast mine, has different settings and the "shocks" are more sharp (but not painful) so it helps more with the bad pain. The portable heating pad is more of just a vibration, but it feels nice when the pain is low/uncomfortable. I don't think it really takes any pain away but distracts you from it, so it would be good in combo to medicine and taking turns off the heating pad. Good luck!

I’ve been using a Livia machine which I think is similar. Have found it can sometimes ease pain, not always but still good. Worth giving it a go 👍

Yea. Not always useful though
