How to Tell Friends and Partners About Being a System

As as a newly diagnosed system, we haven't come out as a system to anyone yet. The host recently started dating someone for the first time. I am wondering how we would approach telling him or a few friends that we are a system.

im not sure abt the host's partner since our partners are also plural, but as for telling friends i'd ask them what they think abt DID/OSDD and figuring out what to say/do depending on their response

i actually have lots of experience with this since many of my friends know about our did. first you can try asking if they know what DID is, and if they don't explain it to them. i like to gradually introduce my alters and have them introduce themselves to my friends when they front. good luck!

My bf actually invited me to a group chat with some of his friends and someone there has DID. He has no idea what it is. One of our alters started explaining it to him. He's nice about it but he doesn't quite understand everything yet
