I think my boyfriend might have bipolar disorder but I don’t know how to bring it up to him without him getting irritated or frustrated about it So how do I bring it up without a fight?

My daughter has it and won't take meds. She has had it so long that she had a psychotic breakdown and was in the hospital for a 72 hour hold. She is so loving and sweet, but then snaps and cusses at me and says untrue things. Later she acts like nothing happened and gets mad if I bring it up 💔😢

A big indication of bipolar is being irritated at little things and things that don't make sense. Do research, find kept points that actually match up with his personality and behavior and just make it an open conversation. If you aren't able to talk about anything then that's just not healthy.

@Scoutie Is there anyway possible for CBD to treat any type of mental illness like bipolar disorder or PTSD

I believe my boyfriend might too because his dad has it, but he’s aware of it. The only issue is that he doesn’t like the idea of medication. If your boyfriend has a family member who may have it, maybe that can make some sort of gateway into the conversation?

@Kofuku I honestly believe that his mother has it and she doesn’t know either because there’s days where he’s happy and playing with me and just being a all out great boyfriend and then when I drop of a hat he switches on me and he’s picking at me about subject said he knows is sensitive to me and will hurt my feelings
