Hi, what you describe is complex because according to the law, when someone has suicidal thoughts, they need to be hospitalized for observation in order to make sure that they don't do what they plan to do. I think, however, that regardless of any connection, you should bring things up and explain exactly what you mean and whether they are just thoughts or do you also have a plan to carry them out. I'm sure that after all you don't want to kill yourself and even if you end up hospitalized for balance it will surely be in your favor.
