Had anyone taken bupropion with escitalopram and adderall? I was told the bupropion would help with depression and adhd, after basically my wife divorcing me my new psychiatrist said that bupropion has some effect on depression but not really that effective. I’m angry that I didn’t take better responsibility for my psychiatric care and just trusted the doc. But it’s hard when your kind of in the fog of depression to realize your not right, in my case to even know what “right” is. New doc added escitalpram. I’m feeling better after a few weeks but I don’t think I’m at 100% yet. This time I’m not going to just “yeah yeah yeah” when the doc asks is everything ok. It was just like a macho thing where I would feel a little better and think that was it, when in reality I was probably still 50% miserable. Also seeing a therapist weekly. Thanks for any insight.

Hi! It sounds like you're going through a lot. Those drugs can work together quite well, but it really does take time. I suggest waiting for at least 8 weeks before talking to your doc about it and maybe change your doses. Good luck and keep us posted!
