I was on Prozac first for Anxiety, Depression and OCD. I hated it lol I felt numb with no emotions at all. It was like living without seeing colors, nothing felt good or positive. Zoloft was the better medicine for me, I've now been on it for 7 years.

It's hard to say since every person is going to have a different experience

It depends on your age and sex. Some people do really well but there are studies that it is not so good for younger people

I've taken both! I was on Zoloft for a while and I had weird side effects with it. I'm on Prozac right now and I like it better. I have less side effects with it, but both help my anxiety in different ways

If you don’t mind me asking, what side effects did you experience from the Zoloft? I was recently prescribed Zoloft but haven’t decided if I want to take it yet.

I and my friends much prefer Prozac over Zoloft. It provides much more energy, calming effects, and appetite suppression!

I got switched From Zoloft to Prozac years ago and It was a really great Change for me. Personally Zoloft made me numb and even tho technically i wasn't sad anymore, I wasn't happy either. Prozac has been great and I don't have any side effects. It helps with my issues so i say give it a go.

I liked Prozac a lot more because I couldn’t eat when I was on Zoloft. In general Prozac is a very effective drug for me.

I take Vyvanse as well which has the side effect of decreased appetite. I didn't even realize that Zoloft can do something similar. Now that you mention it, I am realizing that I get full after maybe 1-2 bites of food and I'll feel sick if I try to keep eating after that. Did you experience this as well?

Could you elaborate on how it helped you in comparison to other things?

I'll say fluvoxmine is the best

My bff takes that for OCD, and I see in Google that is an SSRI. Can you elaborate more on what you were taking it for and how it helped you in comparison to other meds? I'm just trying to be as informed as I can on this, and Google can only tell me so much. It really helps for me to have personal experiences to go off of.
