Switching from Xanax to Valium: Personal Experiences?

I’ve been taking Xanax as needed (which is often) since about 2015, give or take. Anyone have first-hand experience being on Xanax and switching to Valium?

Xanax is usually better for acute anxiety, but it’s more addictive. For reference 0.5mg Xanax is equivalent to 5mg Valium. So Xanax is about 10x stronger than Valium. That being said they both work well for me.
