Switching from MTX to Hydroxychloroquine - Any Experiences?

My doctor just took me off mtx due to elevated liver enzymes and is switching me to hydroxychloroquine. Has any one had a good experience switching? Or, if you’re currently on hyd does it work well for you? Kinda worried I’ll go into a flair.

I’ve been in hydroxychloroquine since last year and can say lucky have us no issues or side effects from it. I had added methotrexate but after a few months felt worse. After a current infection I’m on the Dr wants to switch me to humira. Which I’m crazy nervous about. Things is do you continue suffering and possibly getting worse or risk life threatening side effects? Having a chronic illness sure isn’t a picnic lol

Definitely no picnic, lol. I’m glad you did well on it.
