I’m thinking of switching antidepressants. I don’t think the one I’ve been on for almost 3 years is doing anything. Combined with covid, I started to gain weight and it absolutely will not come off and I think it’s because of my meds. Any recommendations or tips?

Talk to your med provider about it, they will probably help you taper off of it and start a new one.

You can go to a dietitian in the same what's best for you to eat you know. Because the things we eat sometimes affects the inner body
I was on sertraline for a long time. It worked for a bit but after a few months I didn’t feel it was really helping . I switched to Prozac and it really had been a lot better. But antidepressants are so much different for everyone.
@bugz I’m moving so I have to find a new provider and try to find a therapist. It’s tough because my doctor before is very very old 😅

@milflover42069 hmmm, that sounds like a tough situation. I know what it's like to switch from one provider to another, and it's hard to adjust. I hope you find someone who listens and can help you find a medication, or the right combination.
