Swallowing Difficulty and Heart Rate Drop

Sometimes when I am swallowing, it feels like it gets stuck just before my upper abdomen and noticed my heart rate usually drops at least 20 bmp until it passes and goes back up to where it was resting. Its painful and like a pressure and makes me dizzy, but I can still breathe. Anyone else experience this??

All the time you can ask for a referral to a gastro and have them do a motility test

I had an upper GI and for me they found nothing but to be fair my throat was doing fine that day and it always depends on the day. I do think the OP should at least ask about it to rule it out, I am going to meet again with my GI doctor soon and tell him the globus sensation hasnt gone away and my acid reflux medication has helped but didnt do anything for the globus sensation
