You got this I know trauma sucks I have a lot of that to but I also have health anxiety but you are strong and mentally strong you got this hope for a speedy recovery message me if you need anything I’m also awake thanks insomnia lol

I would say support and communication with your doctor beforehand will be key for comfort and post-op care. Also, I would bring all your meds and go over them with staff beforehand so that they are in the system, scheduled properly, and at proper dosages. It also helps me to have a comfort item from home and an activity to focus my attention away from my anxiety.
