Suppressing Tics with Tourette's Syndrome

Does anyone with TS suppress their tics a lot then have bigger episodes of tics?

yup i do that, have learned it’s worse for me in the long run but i am so used to suppressing out of social discomfort :(

I definitely do. Especially when I’m around new people I hold them on….then when I get home it’s super bad

I suppress my tics when I’m at school and let them out when I’m at home.
