Does anyone have any advice on being there for a grieving friend? My very close friend was already having a very rough time through relationship issues and getting rejected by colleges, and now her grandma has passed away. I want to be there for her but I also want to give her space and not seem pushy. I struggle reaching out to people in a genuine way.

You could do something thoughtful for them like send them flowers with a note saying you are here if they need anything ❤️

I'd usually say something like "I know you are going through a hard time right now and might want some space, but I wanted to let you know that I'm here to [add whatever you are comfortable with, IE comfort them, let them vent, distracting them, anything else you think they might need]"
