any support groups for atypical bipolar/bipolar nos? i have very rapid and distinct mood swings within my episodes, so even when im manic ill have depression in bursts, and vice versa. also i have constant mood swings even outside a full episode. (ive tested negative foe bpd). i want a community but i feel like my experiences dont match with most bipolar people

I have mixed episodes as well. It’s kind of hard to deal with when you’re aiming for a more solid diagnosis, but it is what it is. Luckily, like you mentioned above, the negative emotions don’t always last for very long. Sometimes they do, but at least there’s some “positivity” mixed in there. It’s tough to deal with, but we will be okay :)

thank you, youre right on all of that. And i thought it was mixed episodes but my therapist says she cant confirm unless she sees me in one, even though ive def had big ones before

my mood swings can be really quick! like between days or hours some times. i also feel like it's hard to find people with a similar experience..
