Sudden Progression of Tics: Is it Normal?

I started having periodic tics in July of 2021, and near the end of December they became constant and haven't stopped. They've also progressed very quickly. Is a quick/sudden progression a normal thing for tics?

idk if this helps but my tics tend to get worse when I’m more anxious. for me there’s a strong correlation between frequency of tics and my mental health

So I suggest you see a doctor as soon as you can, because tics can sometimes be from illnesses like PANS/PANDAS and that should be taken care of right away if possible.

Yeah, I had tics for about 5 months before they got bad, but they weren't consistent. They'd happen maybe once a month if that.

Personally, I had small tics before November of 2021, which is when my tics got really bad. So mine did get more intense very quickly, but mine didn’t just start out of nowhere. Do you think you could possibly have had smaller, less noticeable tics before they got bad?
