Sudden IBS Symptoms: Has Anyone Else Experienced This?

oh yeah and it hurt like no other. i had issues with it for a few months and then it went away i feel it come back every once in a while but i’m not sure what it was

I have EOE as well and I take 40mg omeprazole daily, along with prebiotics/probiotics and a keto diet - that seems to make my whole digestive system and esophagus happy.

I went to the doctor cause I thought I had IBS and it turned out I just had eosophigilic esophagitis...the diet change really fixed everything 😩

if your talking fibro ,big fat yes. ive always technically had ibs but its never really been an issue for me until this past year. i started getting these crazy severe stomach cramps (like thought my appendix had ruptured bad) and turns out its ibs/spastic colon. still struggling with it but i was prescribed levsin which has helped. i would def talk to your pcp or gi doc if you have one just to make sure it isn't something different than regular chronic stuff you experience :)

Yes! Oh my gosh. I was diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis about a year ago, and I made the diet changes to accommodate it so it didn’t flare up anymore, and then all of a sudden, I started experiencing heavy symptoms of IBS. I have no idea why
