Sudden Hair Loss After Pneumonia Recovery: Need Advice

Long story short, I contracted pneumonia, and I was over prescribed steroids and antibiotics. I’m usually 105 lbs but because of the many cycles of steroids over the course of 3 months, I gained 40lbs in water weight. I weighted exactly 142 and couldn’t fit into any of my clothes. I was finally prescribed lasix after they did tests to rule out any heart, or lung failure. Within the course of 10 days I lost 43 lbs. About 2 weeks after I took a shower and washed my hair as usual and I when I went to comb the conditioner through I could hear my hair breaking off and coming out. It looked like I was a cancer patient and I had been going through chemo. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m so upset over the entire thing…I don’t even know where to start to fix it.
