Sudden Drop in Sex Drive: Unmasking or Something Else?

CW: sexuality, sex drive Since I have begun to truly unmask I’ve noticed a sudden drop in my sex drive. I’ve been hypersexual for years (I have PTSD and ADHD). Suddenly, I find myself neutral if not nearly sex repulsed. I am beginning to wonder if my seeming high sex drive was simply me masking this whole time. The sudden shift has not been easy for me (he/him) or my partner (he/him). Has anyone experienced this? Any advice on navigating this on my own and as a couple?

It took until I was 32 to realize I was demisexual because I was really hypersexual as a teen and young adult.

It's really easy to assume that sexual interest is also personal and romantic interest, but it's not always the case. Let your partner know that he still matters to you and you still care about him. It won't solve the problem, but hopefully it'll alleviate some symptoms.
