Substituting Hydrocortisone with Natural Alternatives

I take hydrocortisone. All it does is make your hands and feet swollen along with your face. Are there any way we can substitute all the medicine I take with something natural to the body?

when you have a Craniopharyngioma, your function of your pituitary gland basically dies & you have to take replacement therapy. I had a craniotomy in 2011 to remove mine & still haven’t found a non hydrocortisone related therapy. I just don’t swell like crazy like other people do, resulting in hypothalamic obesity I believe. I’m 28 & 90 pounds. 🤷🏽‍♀️

No I don’t have Addison’s disease, I had a brain tumor called Craniopharyngioma when I was 11 in 2013. I feel like when I don’t take hydrocortisone, I don’t feel hungry and I eat less which makes me feel good. I’m actually able to control my hunger now I wanna lose weight and stop taking meds and start taking healthy vitamins

I’m on 5mg. I take 2 in the morning, 1 1/2 in the afternoon, and 1 at night. See the doctors say I need to take it to live but I believe I can find something more natural. Doctors don’t heal, they just keep you stabilized

If you have Addison’s disease/adrenal insufficiency you have to take hydrocortisone to live. If you are having swelling you should tell your endocrinologist. What dose are you on?
