I feel like my symptoms all got worse after I was diagnosed. I know it's not all in my head, I'm sick of feeling like this. So why is everything getting worse? Isn't it supposed to get better after a diagnosis?

It’s not the receiving of a diagnosis that makes things better, but the opportunity for tailored and proper treatment to occur. Even then it can be a long drawn out process to find what works for you as an individual.
I felt like that too, after my diagnosis. I think EDS is one of those things where you've been gaslighted for so long that once you get a real diagnosis that verifies your pain and fatigue, it allows you to accept it and feel the full weight of it. 💞
