@QueenCleofatra YES! I despuse the system that has caused everyone to think this way. It is just NOT true! I've even thought of making a t-shirt that says: "Exercise? 1 hour/day. Blood Pressure: 120/80. Cholesterol: 189. NO sugar. NO flour. NO alcohol. NO tobacco. Do you REALLY think you are healthier than me now?" LOL

After that, I'll try Berberine. After that, Amla.

Just saying... my previous med provider turned me on to this combination of wellbutrin and naltrexone that creates an appetite suppressant without a stimulant. I've lost over 40 lbs., just slowly. I got down to the weight I've had on my driver's license for over 10 years! I'm still taking them and it's still working.
@klazikel I wish Contrave had worked for me, but ... once again, NADA. My next try will be Curalin.

AH! I can't believe I forgot Metformin, Phentermine AND Contrave (not at the same time, though). Still ... NOTHING. My husband says I am probably THE HEALTHIEST 300-pound person in the world!
@Faline so many people see fat and think that equals unhealthy. That's another thing that irritates me
Yep! I do keto, ACV, MCT Oil, IF, XF, OMAD, 2MAD, HIIT, Resistance Training, only eat vegetable carbs, no sugar, no flour, no snacks, and I CANNOT lose weight no matter what. I'm at a loss. No idea what the problem is. I take vitamin D3, K2, all the Bs, vitamin C ... NOTHING works.
@Faline Honestly I believe now since I'm learning what works is we were meant to eat meat. I feel healthier, stronger and my gut likes it. Grass fed whatever meat. I started looking for steak, good quality pork or beef sausage and I add fat like butter or a lard made from fat. I eat keto pretty much other then that. My energy is better as well as sleep and my gut. We must all be willing to find what works for us. I'm no longer hungry all the time. Also eat eggs and mozzarella cheese.. Try not to eat anything heavy before bed.. I get more from you guys then I do professionals in this area. Hot tea with 1tlb vinegar and 1 lemon with Stevie or honey before bed. I keep it simple that's the key I do believe. We can do this with each other's help.

I loved hearing your tips and stories. I think we can find what is wrong before the docs will
@QueenCleofatra That's the truth.. So sad... We need to challenge each other to find what works for us.

Strange your stories have been my life.lol . I recently listened to a lady bioscientist or something like that that runs a clinic in Hungary for people with cancer and autoimmune issues. Success rate high. So thet eat nothing but fat and meat for 2 weeks. These are extreme cases. I've been desperate because of health issues. So I started eating meats again with added fat. Because fat burns fat. No Sugar, no carbs other then potatoes and no milk. It's working. I do grapefruit for my BP. I use alot of sea salt has not made my BP go up. Everything we were told not to do I do. Now I only drink water when thirsty. We've been told so many lies that keep us sick and dependent on the system of health care.

Yes!! I weighed 170 in high school. I started eating healthier a month ago and watching calories and I keep losing and gaining the same 2 pounds. :)

yes, I have. I joined a bootcamp training 4 years ago, and loss 100 lbs in 7 months, I worked my butt off to lose that weight. I exercise, walked and ate right. the pandemic hit, and I gained most of the weight back. So, I got myself together, got back on track, and eating healthier again, but sometimes I slack off. I refuse to give up. I had stop working out, but I'm looking forward to exercising again. So I can continue on my healthy journey. I need support and motivation and accountability buddies. We can do it!

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes! Early teens I was at 280. With extended fasting, extreme dieting, and walking about 15 miles a day- I dropped to 160. Then I had a baby 🙃 Now I'm at 250. I don't really eat much, like 2 large snacks a day.
Yes I was skinny my whole life a size 10 until I had to get a hysterectomy in my 20s. Then I started gaining weight and nothing I did would ever take it off. Exercise and diets never worked. Then last fall I had to get my gallbladder removed because it was full of gallstones causing me to have pancreatitis. After I got my gallbladder removed I lost 30 lbs. I haven't had trouble keeping it off except I noticed that some of my meds have been causing some water retention and a little weight gain. But there is nothing I can do about that because I need those medicines.
Yes I feel this so much Like I eat better than most people and still nothing
@dpluse08 my son says im the most anorexic fat person he's ever saw. 🙄
@QueenCleofatra that really sums it up. My husband would probably say that too
Yes. It seems no matter what I do, I gain weight. Sometimes it seems like if I think of food I gain 5 lbs.
@Ephiny yes! I'm so sorry you deal with this as well.
